College of Social Sciences will organize the  discussion of the first PhD Dissertation at the Department of Geography presented by student Ibrahim Qaed Darweesh titled "estimation of Floods size and dangers at the basin of Wadi Al Mawrid, republic of Yemen using Geographic Information System and Remote Sensing System" on Tuesday Jumada Al-Thani 22, 1438 H at the celebrations hall in the college.

The discussion panel includes: Prof. Mohamed Saeed Al-Baroudi as the supervisor and rapporteur, Prof. Jihad Mohamed Gorba, internal discussant and Prof. Mahmoud Ibrahim Al-Doaan, as an external discussant.

Its worth mentioning her the department of geography  approved two PhD dissertations last year  by researcher Mona Al-Harbi and researcher Halima Al-Zubaidi as the first PhD dissertations to be approved at the level of the college of social sciences.
