The University Vice Presidency for Educational Affairs was established as per the approval of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz (may Allah have mercy on him), pursuant to the Royal Order No. 4465/M.B. dated 28 Jumada Al-Awwal 1431 A.H. The University Vice Presidency for Educational Affairs at Umm Al-Qura University is considered one of the newly established vice presidencies.

The aim of its establishment was to contribute to the development of the skills and the professional and moral standards of university students, paying attention to and advancing them in all respects. This is in addition to overcoming all obstacles that obstruct the academic process as well as providing all educational possibilities and opportunities for our students.
